M9.3 Blog: Green Chemistry

BLOG about your thoughts on green chemistry. Have you heard of or seen any examples of green chemistry in your work or in daily life? What are your thoughts on the 12 principles of green chemistry? 

 Blog chemistry seems like a very proactive strategy that addresses the ways in which we interact with our environment. I  think if we were to consider implementing more processes that follow the 12 principles of green chemistry our Earth would be significantly more vibrant. Considering what is in the environment currently and what will be added to the environment if we continue down this path, I    think it could only be helpful for us to examine using the green chemistry principles to find another way to improve our ecosystem. 

 I was unfamiliar with green chemistry before watching the video posted in the module. I    am happy that I    have had an opportunity to look more into what things are affecting our environment in hopes of improving the way I    contribute to our earth. Hopefully we can begin implementing more green chemistry principles and move our earth away from the toxic levels it is reaching.

    I agree that following the 12 principles of green chemistry would do wonders for the world. I think this module was a great opportunity to learn about green chemistry, since I, too, did not know about it. Hopefully, more and more of the world start to learn about green chemistry and put the principles into practice.

    I thought this topic was super interesting as well. I had never heard of green chemistry before watching the video. I think the 12 principles are great to implement.

To me the most troubling thing about climate change is the idea that people in our society do not believe that it is happening and that it is a real thing.
